Position Summary/Objective
Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for applying & posting payments in Deacom (ERP software system), monitoring accounts to identify outstanding invoices, contacting customers with past due balances to facilitate payment(s), and researching & submitting disputes with payment discrepancies.
Job Responsibility Break-Down- Research & submitting disputes with payment discrepancies (45%)
- Processing payments in ERP software system (30%)
- Collections (15%)
- Filing (10%)

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is sometimes required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, and a minimum of 40 hours per week is required.
TravelNo travel is expected for this position.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years' previous experience
Education and Experience
- Associate's Degree in Accounting.
- 2-5 years' previous experience.
