Billing Clerk

Location: Fairlawn

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Fairlawn, Ohio. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining timely collection of payments. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of billing systems and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and issue accurate billing statements to clients in a timely manner.

- Monitor and manage billing collections to ensure payments are received promptly.

- Maintain and update billing records within the designated systems.

- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.

- Review invoices and statements to ensure compliance with company policies.

- Generate reports on billing activities and collections for management review.

- Assist with implementing improvements to streamline billing processes.

- Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information.

- Handle customer queries related to billing and provide clear resolutions. Requirements - Proven experience in billing, accounting, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of billing systems and processes.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in using computer software, including spreadsheets and billing tools.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Analytical mindset for identifying and resolving discrepancies.

- High level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality.
