We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, solid attention to detail, and experience managing day-to-day financial transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate financial record
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with management accounts
  • Process payroll and statutory deductions where required
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
  • Maintain supporting documentation and ensure proper record-keeping
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports
  • Prepare basic financial analysis for management
  • Assist with invoicing and billing processes
  • Support procurement and expense tracking
  • Reconcile supplier statements and follow up on outstanding items
  • Ensure all financial transactions are properly coded and recorded
Minimum Requirements
  • BCom degree or Accounting qualification
  • Minimum of 4 years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting and tax regulations
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, Pastel, Quick Books)
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
