Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Smithville , Ohio
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000, based on experience

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements while ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards

Month-End & Year-End Close:
Lead and support monthly and annual close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are complete

Account Reconciliations:
Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations and investigate variances

Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency

Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams to provide financial insight and support operational decision-making

What We’re Looking For in a Senior Accountant:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field

Experience:

Four or more years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience preferred

Technical

Skills:

Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
