Accounting Manager

CBIZ Talent Solutions is assisting our client in their search for an Accounting Manager in Chagrin Falls, OH
.

• Manage all aspects of general ledger including analysis, reconciliations, inter-company, journal entries and accruals while working with Accounts Payables in general as well as with Project Accounting on direct and indirect G/L accounts.
• Partner with Project Accountant with the Direct and Indirect G/L accounts.
• Oversee, maintain, and understand various monthly state DOR (Department of Revenue) and SALT filing and compliance requirements such as Construction Tax, CAT Tax, Sales/Use Tax, BWC, etc.
• Accounting for Fixed Assets and maintaining depreciation schedules. Assist Shop. repair and maintenance with E360 account and systems.
• Accounting for Loans and maintaining amortization schedules.
• Accounting for Inventory.
• Assist A/P with 1099 Reporting
• Assist CFO and team with budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist CFO with managing the internal financial reporting process to facilitate month-end closing and year-end preparation by external CPA firm assuring compliance with GAAP and construction accounting standards.
• Assist CFO with bonding requirements as needed.
• Assist CFO with monitoring and develop internal controls to minimize financial risk and identify areas of opportunity to better safeguard assets.
• Assist CFO in creating projections with different scenarios on the growth opportunities as needed and develop accounting policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Manage and perform other duties as needed.

• Bachelor s degree in accounting with 5 or more years of experience as an Accounting Manager in construction or manufacturing. A CPA or Construction Certification a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple financial tasks concurrently and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and data integrity.
• Ability to learn, change and improve processes working collaboratively.
• Ability to work in a high-growth company, collaboratively partnering with others throughout the organization to drive result
• Experience with integrated ERP Accounting Systems. Ideally Foundation Accounting Software.
• Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills with a strong data skills perspective and capabilities.
