Consider joining the Pennex Accounts Payable team at our Leetonia, OH location. In this role, you will support the accounting department by accurately and efficiently processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the timely payment of bills. Additional duties may include performing administrative tasks and preparing reports of accounting activity as required.

Our company will observe Winter Break from December 24th through January
1. Interviews and application reviews will pause during this period and resume on January 2, 2026.

• Process both PO and non‑PO related invoices for coding and data entry.
• Perform 3‑way math on PO related invoices.
• Resolve discrepancies between purchasing, receiving, and invoice documents.
• Enter data of invoices into the ERP system for processing and payment.
• Administer accounting duties including mailing checks, filing, and scanning.
• Compile reports of accounting activity and data.
• Assist with month‑end closing in a timely manner.
• Other general accounting duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate’s degree or technical training is preferred.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in an accounts payable role is required.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Epicor or Microsoft D365 is a plus.
• Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
• Ability to multitask, think critically, and solve problems.
• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsor ships are not available.
