Senior Auditor

We are looking for a Senior Auditor to undertake audit projects from Germany and other European countries!

Join our dynamic Audit Support Team as a Senior Auditor and lead exciting projects for clients in Germany and across Europe!

• Active involvement in the planning and finalisation stages of audit support;
• Responsibility for the day-to-day execution of audit engagements, including tests of controls, substantive procedures, and use of audit software;
• Completion of a variety of audit work areas, including issue identification, data analysis, and communication of process improvements to the Audit Manager;
• Appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters;
• Use and promotion of IT solutions to simplify and accelerate audit procedures;
• Identification of areas for improvement in clients' business processes and preparation of recommendations, including contributions to the Management Letter;
• Supervision of audit associates, including timely performance reviews and coaching through knowledge sharing;
• Participation in audit team coordination;
• Development of proficiency in using our Audit Methodology to perform assurance engagements in compliance with International Standards of Auditing (ISA).

• Proven experience leading audit projects, with a solid understanding of all audit stages;
• Ability and readiness to perform final quality reviews;
• Strong communication skills, including collaboration with German colleagues and coordination of Ukrainian colleagues;
• Excellent project management skills;
• Readiness to develop and expand the services of the Audit Support Team;
• More than five years of current and/or recent experience within an international or local professional services firm;
• Thorough understanding and hands‑on experience in planning and coordinating all audit stages;
• Experience with IFRS and/or US GAAP and International Standards on Auditing (ISA);
• Professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA, or other relevant certification);
• Fluent English (German is an advantage, but not required);
• Advanced Excel skills.
