Shift Requirement: 12hr Days 6:30-7
Required Certs to be attached upon submittal:
Must have current active compact license. AHA BLS and NIHSS
Minimum Experience REQUIRED:
Two years of strong Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience.
Charting Experience:
Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
Float Requirement:
First to float within skillset.
Weekend/Holiday Requirement:
Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.
Patient Population:
Chest pain, abdominal pain, flank plank, CVA/TIA, generalized weakness/awaiting placement/geri-psych placement.
Skillset: PIV insertion, stables drips (heparin, lasix, protonix), Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!
Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 32 beds. Ratio:
Days 1-4:5; NOCs 1:5-7;
Excellent LPN and CNA support. CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes assignment on NOC shift.
Unit Strengths:
Excellent teamwork with support of fantastic LPNs and CNAs.
Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates
Scrub Colors:
Navy blue scrubs - No competing health systems or agency logos
* 3 call-ins can result in termination
