• Provide nursing care to patients, assisting in their care under RN supervision, with understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders.
• Coordinate and deliver general and psychiatric nursing care to patients with substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or psychiatric and emotional disorders.
• Actively participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team, supporting the organization’s philosophy of care and ensuring patient safety and well-being.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program or relevant state licensure.
• Current unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state.
• CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
• Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare setting, especially with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, or geriatric patients, preferred.
• Experience with patient assessments, treatment planning, and communication with review organizations.
