Heavy Haul Transport Driver

Coldwater Milling is seeking an experienced Heavy Haul Truck Driver to transport construction equipment and materials to and from job sites. This role requires experience hauling oversized loads, securing freight, and operating commercial vehicles safely and professionally.

The ideal candidate understands route planning, DOT regulations, and heavy haul safety practices and works well with field crews to ensure efficient and safe deliveries. Coldwater Milling is a Utah-based construction company that values safety, teamwork, and professionalism.

• Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and trailers for heavy haul transport
• Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
• Plan and follow assigned routes while meeting delivery schedules and traffic laws
• Maintain accurate driving logs, inspection reports, and required documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and project teams regarding deliveries and issues
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance as needed

• Valid Class A CDL (no automatic restriction preferred)
• Current DOT physical and ability to pass drug screening
• Experience hauling heavy equipment or oversize loads preferred
• Comfortable operating manual transmission trucks
