VDCI is currently hiring for a Full‑Time Aircraft Maintenance Technician in the Ogden, UT or Salt Lake City, UT area. A&P License required! Sign‑On Bonus of $5,000. Relocation Assistance available. This hourly position pays $30.00 – $40.00 per hour; with an Inspection Authorization, it can pay up to $45.00 per hour. Overtime hours available during our busier season from June – September.

An Aircraft Maintenance Technician performs all field and related work required to service each of the company’s customers and help the business grow.

Duties include:

• Perform efficient troubleshooting, aircraft maintenance, and repair in accordance with applicable regulations, manufacturer’s instructions, and company policies.
• Perform inspections and maintenance on all planes including Piper Aztec PA23‑250, Piper Navajo Chieftain PA31‑350, Cessna 188, Air Tract 502B.
• Ensure consistent, accurate aircraft maintenance records by properly documenting and completing required forms, computer entries, and logbook entries.
• Follow all policies and procedures, keep a clean and orderly work environment, perform job duties in a safe manner, and perform other duties as assigned.
• Show a positive attitude and willingness to get the job done.
• Knowledge of light twin aircraft.

• A&P License required.
• 1 year of direct experience working on single or twin‑engine Lycoming or Continental engines – preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Proficient writing and verbal skills.
• Available to work Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strenuous physical exertion required; must drive, stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and crouch for extended periods. Must grasp, handle, reach, and feel.
• Knowledge and understanding of FAA airworthiness requirements and FAA Part 91.
• Must pass pre‑employment background screen and drug test.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and pass motor vehicle record search.
