Field Service Technician / Forklift Mechanic

Full‑Time | Ogden, UT

Dillon Toyota Lift is hiring a Field Service Technician (Forklift Mechanic) to service and repair material handling equipment at customer sites throughout the Ogden area. This is a field‑based position for a technician who enjoys hands‑on mechanical work, troubleshooting, and working independently while delivering great customer service.

• Diagnose and repair Toyota and other makes of forklifts and material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, etc.)
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Communicate clearly with customers, service managers, parts, and dispatch
• Complete work orders, labor hours, and parts documentation accurately
• Maintain a company service van and inventory

• 2+ years technician or automotive repair experience (forklifts, automotive, heavy equipment, or related field)
• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems (engines, transmissions, gas/LP systems a plus)
• Comfortable working independently in the field
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work
• High school diploma or equivalent (vocational or technical training preferred)
