$14.00 to $17.00 per hour

Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $##.## per hour on top of your hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, part‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associate works with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and much more.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor clean, stocked, and displays merchandise.
• Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies, procedures, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed.
• Flexible to work a retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission, based on gross profit of personal performance. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Payment rates will not be below any applicable local minimum wage requirements.
