+12% for 2nd shift

9/80 schedule
– 9-hour shifts
Every other Friday off

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented
CNC Laser Operator
to join our manufacturing team. This role involves setting up and operating CNC laser equipment and supporting production across multiple machine types in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment. Aerospace experience is preferred, but candidates with strong manufacturing backgrounds and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Core Responsibilities
Set up and operate
CNC laser machines
and other production equipment, including lathes and mills
Troubleshoot and resolve machine or material-related issues during production
Identify different material types and thicknesses and verify accuracy throughout the process
Use inspection and measuring tools such as
calipers, micrometers, overlays, and pin gauges
Perform work with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management under production deadlines
Plan and perform complex work processes independently and as part of a team
Communicate effectively and professionally with employees at all levels
Organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
Maintain safety, housekeeping, and cleanliness standards at all times
Perform daily machine maintenance, cleaning, and alignment as required
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Manufacturing background required;
aerospace industry experience preferred
Experience setting up and programming machinery to cut sheet material and create fixtures per customer specifications
Ability to analyze drawings and specifications to determine proper tooling and processes
Knowledge of metal properties, machining methods, and manufacturing processes
Ability to inspect tools and parts using precision measuring equipment
Experience working with toolmakers, engineers, and quality teams to resolve tolerance or process issues
Proficient computer skills, including
Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
