Job Summary/Basic Function

Individual will be responsible for helping with event needs prior to, during and after events at the Dee Events Center, Stewart Stadium and Sky suites, Stromberg Complex, Marquardt Fieldhouse and other locations as needed.

During events, the individual will be available as event support which can include jobs such as Ushering, Bag Searching, Custodial and other duties as assigned.

Before and after event cleaning includes all assigned areas of the Event and Sports Facilities department.

Other duties as assigned.

This job will require work some nights, Saturdays and/or Sundays, and some holidays.

Pooled Position and Invitation Assignments.

• Assist with event needs prior to, during, and after events at designated venues.
• Provide event support such as ushering, bag searching, custodial, and related duties as assigned.
• Perform cleaning for assigned areas of the Event and Sports Facilities department before and after events.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
• Work some nights, Saturdays, Sundays, and some holidays.

• Required:
  
  High school or equivalent.
• Ability to effectively communicate.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to maneuver stairs and repetitively bend to pick up items of light weight.

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and standards.
• Skill in using cleaning products and equipment.
