Direct Care Support Staff

Overview

Starting rate increased to $16.00 per hour!!! If you are a compassionate, caring, energetic creative, fun individual that enjoys helping individuals with disabilities achieve their greatest potential, Futures Through Choices has open position for a Direct Care Support staff.

• Help clients become as self-sufficient as they are physically and mentally able, including helping them prepare meals and assist with hygiene needs (includes toileting, showering and changing briefs when needed).
• Assist clients in making the best choices for themselves, such as selecting healthy menus, while promoting the clients’ right to make choices.
• Take clients into the community, attend events with them, and prepare crafts and other appropriate activities.
• Ensure the living area and surrounding spaces are safe and sanitary, including basic housekeeping and laundry.
• Support clients to achieve a greater level of independent living through these opportunities.

This is an entry level, part-time position and pays $16.00 per hour. Flexible schedules are offered with shifts available in the mornings, evenings, and weekends.
