Job Summary /Basic FunctionThis part-time position supports the Data Training & Communication Manager (DTCM) at Weber State University, aiding in the execution of data training and communication initiatives. Responsibilities include creation of training resources, training delivery, and logistical support for training events. The role ensures effective operation of data training efforts and assists the Office of Student Success Analytics (OSSA) with administrative, technical, and marketing tasks to facilitate smooth execution of these initiatives.
Required QualificationsA minimum of two years of college education or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of one year of experience in training programs, experience with data related subject matter, or media production. Proficiency with computer programs commonly used in office settings, including Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, Google Suites, etc.
Preferred QualificationsThe ideal candidate possesses experience in developing training programs, particularly in data‑related fields, and has a background in marketing and communication. They should demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking abilities, meeting deadlines consistently while managing diverse responsibilities. The role requires professional judgment, confidentiality, and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. The individual should be adept at problem‑solving, both independently and collaboratively, with a detail‑oriented approach and the ability to quickly adapt to new software.
Familiarity with University programs and systems is beneficial.

Physical Requirements of this PositionSedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or consistently to move objects, including the human body. Sitting most of the time. Walking and standing only occasionally if ever.
Visual Acuity RequirementsRequired to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; using a computer terminal; extensive reading.
