Service Technician

Description of the role:

Young Ford of Ogden is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately
• Keep detailed records of all service and repair actions
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain the diagnosis and recommended repairs
• Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

• Experience as an automotive technician or similar role
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Certification from an accredited automotive tech program is a plus
