Memorial Hospital Belleville and Shiloh provide acute‑care, emergency, surgical and critical services. Both hospitals hold Magnet® status and offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services, including pediatric emergency and critical care.

Provide direct patient care—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—within the standards of nursing care.

• Promote patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
• Participate in patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities. Engage in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family/caregiver. Proactively plan and communicate the plan of care across the continuum of care.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs per standards of care. Assess patient preferences, barriers, values, and population‑specific needs.
• This is a safety‑sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
