Warehouse Clerk - Shipping/Receiving Specialist
ASCO Equipment in Odessa, Texas is hiring a Warehouse Clerk - Shipping/Receiving Specialist. This role aids the parts department in fulfilling shipping and stocking needs. Responsibilities include verifying and maintaining detailed records of incoming and outgoing shipments, managing inventory orders and returns.
Responsibilities- Receives daily shipments and maintains clear and accurate records.
- Physically unpack, examine and route incoming shipments.
- Reports shortages, rejects damaged items and processes returns or credits.
- Accurately matches orders with packing slips.
- Operates lift truck/hand trucks to move materials to designated areas.
- Operates stretch'acc wrap bander and PB crimp tools.
- Makes pickups and deliveries to suppliers using company truck/van.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- 2+ years of experience as a Warehouse Specialist and Parts is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced/high-volume warehouse.
- Detail oriented, time management, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills, initiative and follow-through.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with tracking & shipping programs.
- A personal dedication to work safety and accountability.
- Acceptable driving record.
