The Shop Maintenance Technician is a key position supporting the field, project, shop/maintenance facility, and rental functions within the Operations Department. The successful technician can work in a diverse, fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with flexibility to work the hours needed to meet critical customer and project deadlines.

• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all equipment in the warehouse (to be dispatched as stand‑alone rentals or on service projects in field locations). This includes cleaning, painting, etc.
• Perform maintenance and refurbishment of temperature and pressure chart recorders in warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles to make scheduled or unscheduled deliveries.
• Gather required equipment from warehouse stock for rental or service jobs.
• Load and unload equipment and supplies going out or coming in from rental or service jobs.
• Inspect, repair, clean and test hoses prior to rolling and storing.
• Daily housekeeping and maintenance of the shop, warehouse and all work stations.
• Fleet maintenance, repair, and cleaning of all company vehicles and trailers.
• Respond to service calls as required to supplement the Field Technician team.
• Perform other duties as prioritized by the Shop Maintenance Manager or Operations management on a scheduled and unscheduled basis.

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MUST be extremely mechanically inclined.
• Must be available for after hours, weekend, and call‑out work for rental support and service jobs (on‑call rotation is in place for equipment rentals).
• Must be extremely reliable.
• MUST have valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Stranco guidelines (some positions will require valid CDL endorsement).

• Lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying up to 30 lbs.
• Bending, stooping and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Working in hot and cold temperatures.
