PositionSummary
The Shop Mechanic position works at various locations. The position may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands.
Essential Functions- Manage development of equipment in cities and states within region.
- Knowledge of the mechanics of equipment ranging from as large as a crane to as small as a chain saw.
- Work safely while performing repairs or maintenance in a garage and in the field in various weather conditions.
- Troubleshooting in various localities regarding equipment repair, maintenance and deployment.
- Frequently work around energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others while performing job.
- Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities- Able to perform rigorous physical labor.
- Requires 1-5 years of experience.
- Must have or able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Must have own general tools.
- Must be able to learn or perform work in the following disciplines:
- Hydraulics
- Diesel/gas engine – automatic
- Chassis and suspension
- Welding/metal fabrication
- Small tool repair
- Must know or be able to learn how to use a computer for:
- Diagnostics
- Equipment Inventory management
- Work Orders
- Certifications of Experiences in any of the following a plus:
- ASE certification
- Ford or international certifications
- Altec/Telelect
- Hydraulic maintenance
- Utility or construction jobs
- Able to work for extended periods throughout various locations when required.
- Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Willing to work over-time when requested.

- Must be able to follow Company safety rules and all other Company policies.
