For this role, we seek individuals responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy equipment and aerial lifts. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the latest fleet in the industry.
Primary Responsibilities- Practice safe job practices during equipment repairs
- Utilize technology (laptops and tablets) effectively
- Perform maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on rental and customer equipment, using a high degree of independent judgment
- Assist in training lower-level technicians as needed
- Maintain documentation of work performed (work orders) accurately and promptly daily
- Assist with equipment and parts pick-up and delivery
- Be familiar with OSHA requirements (preferred)
- Field Mechanics: travel to customer sites for repairs and maintenance; keep service vehicle clean and professional
- Participate in year-round OEM training provided by the company
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Own tools relevant to the position
- Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment, including schematics and diagrams
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
- High School diploma;
Trade school certificate preferred - Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred
- Field mechanics: valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; must be at least 21 to operate company vehicle
- Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Field Technicians: may need to be clean-shaven to access certain worksites
- This is a safety-sensitive position; employment contingent on passing a 10-panel drug screen
