General SummaryPerform complete overhaul and testing of all manufacturers’ pressure relief valves, including Farris, Consolidated, Crosby, Anderson-Greenwood, and others. Execute troubleshooting and testing in shop and field environments. Report directly to the Operations Manager.
Essential Job Functions- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices, alerting others to potential hazards.
- Perform all duties as assigned, adhering to TEAM’s Core Values.
- Repair pressure relief valves according to TEAM’s National Board Inspection Code approved quality manual.
- Communicate directly with customers.
- Work autonomously in the valve repair process.
- Ensure all testing and repair reports comply with quality system and National Board Inspection Code criteria.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Pressure Relief Valve Manufacturers Training Courses and/or certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of Trevitest, EVT, AVK, or other inline test equipment preferred.
- Solid knowledge of ASME and NBIC codes.
- 0 to 30% minimum travel required.
- Position based out of a branch or site location.
- Field duties involve indoor and outdoor work in a plant environment.
- Interaction with crew, supervisors, and clients.
- Work around production machinery with extreme noise levels.
- Must wear safety equipment as required.
- Potential to work at multiple sites in a day and tolerate climate changes.
- Periodic out-of-town travel may be required.
- Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to walk and climb, except during non-field duties.
- Effective communication skills.
- Good observation skills.
- Manual dexterity for routine duties.
- Mobility for travel and access to various environments, including elevated platforms.
- Ability to focus and multitask effectively.
