Job Summary
Bruckner’s Truck & Equipment is one of the largest family‑owned semi truck dealerships in the United States. The Tier 1 technician will have the skills trained in the Tier 3 and Tier 2 specifications and will have completed additional online and off‑site training. A Tier 1 technician will not be considered for advancement until they have a minimum of five years of on‑the‑job training.

• Completed advanced online portion training in Mack & Volvo in our dual branded locations and single brand in those single branded locations. This requirement may also be met using Cummins Training, Medium Duty Training, or Allison training.
• Actively working on approved off‑site training prerequisites or attending off‑site training towards a certification in the agreed‑upon training path.
• Advanced knowledge of Air System, Fuel Systems, After treatment systems, etc.

• Performs timely repairs, minimum 90% efficiency and 80% proficiency.
• Performs quality repairs with minimal rework based on value, frequency, and managerial discretion.
• Ability to lead & train Tier “2” & “3” Technicians.
• Can diagnose and repair advanced electronic, lighting, and electrical systems.

• Complete all Tier 2 & 3 Job Role Requirements.
• Must complete a minimum of 3 items listed below.
• Complete in 3 areas of the ASE “Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Certifications”.
• Master Certified in at least 2 Mack or Volvo Pro‑Path Segments.
• D.O.T. Inspection Certified.
• Certified in at least one Cummins engine platform.
• Certified in a Medium Duty (Hino, Mitsubishi, or Isuzu).
• Allison Transmission Certified (one).
• Have valid Commercial Driver’s License.
• Active in the Safety Committee.
• Willing to participate in the Mack Master’s/Vista Tech competition.
