Snubbing Operator

Join KLX Energy Services as a Snubbing Operator and help deliver expert energy services across the wellsite, including drilling, completions, re-fracing, production, workover, and plug and abandonment. Your role will involve rigging, truck and crane operations, equipment maintenance, and safe execution of field and shop tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, loading, and unloading duties following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company procedures.
• Support crew members on site and in the shop as directed.
• Place equipment as assigned by the supervisor and operate heavy machinery when properly certified.
• Work at customer well locations, often in inclement weather and confined spaces.
• Complete job-related paperwork, driver’s logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
• Install, disassemble, and maintain equipment per manufacturer standards, including minor repairs and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency while adhering to safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; less than a high school education is acceptable.
• 2–4 years of relevant work experience; supervisory experience not required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a forklift or crane operator.
• HSE or quality certifications, Class A CDL, or relevant oilfield product line experience.

Physical Requirements

• Precise hand‑eye coordination and basic keyboarding or repetitive motions.
• Frequent operation of heavy equipment or vehicles; lifting/pushing objects over 50 lb.
• Ability to climb, work in awkward and cramped positions, and walk on concrete and uneven surfaces.
• Exposure to inclement weather, bright lights, loud noise, dust, gas, and fumes.
