Retail Sales Associate – 2429 at First Cash

Location:

Nationwide Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate positions. The role is full‑time and entry‑level.

The associate partners with all store staff to provide excellent customer service and handle sales, loans, and related transactions across a wide range of products including jewelry, electronics, tools and firearms (in FFL locations). The position pays an hourly base rate of $14.00 to $17.00 plus commission based on productivity.

• Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform non‑management open/close procedures and keep the sales floor clean and stocked.
• Process sales and loan transactions according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items accurately.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers.
• Assist in creating a positive customer experience and complete required training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required by location.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, teamwork, and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
  
  Flexible to work multiple locations and a retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate – able to operate POS systems and common office equipment.
