The Server is responsible for ensuring that guests are satisfied by providing a world-class service experience. Servers must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and be knowledgeable about the menu, wine list, and other aspects of the establishment.

• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards, with scheduling varying according to hotel needs.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and name tag.
• Comply with all standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Meet certification requirements such as Food Handlers and TABC, as applicable.
• Follow Marriott SOPs concerning credit policies.
• Complete all required correspondence promptly and efficiently.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server or in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Knowledge of wine and beverage pairings.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to convey information clearly and evaluate courses of action quickly.
• Ability to work well under stress and maintain composure.
• Effective problem-solving and listening skills.
