Job Details:

• Work in Intensive Care Unit with 2-3 patient ratio experience
• Must have 2+ years of nursing experience and travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH, 6 hours of stroke education, EKG course completion
• Must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Room for critical care holds
• Cerner charting system experience required
• Weekend coverage required with one pre-approved time off allowed
• Care for patients including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Unit has 20 beds with daily census of 15 patients
• Extensive skill requirements including ventilator management, cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, arterial line management, central line care, and post-surgical care
• Experience with advanced monitoring equipment including Flo Trac/Vigileo, ICP monitoring, and external ventricular drains
• Handle complex cases including post-cardiac surgery, TAVR procedures, traumatic brain injury, and stroke management
• Work with interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Community hospital experience preferred with Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must maintain local radius of 50 miles and submit all required documentation by Tuesday 4:30pm CST deadline
