Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a TX or compact license and strong travel experience.

• Work in a hospital setting on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Required to float to other med/surg/tele units as assigned
• Shift is 4x12 hour nights from 18:45 to 7:15
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Patient ratios up to 6:1
• Unit offers scheduling flexibility with 36 or 48 hours per week and alternating 36/48 hour schedules
• Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Responsibilities include providing care to a diverse med/surg telemetry population and floating as needed
• Certifications required for the position must be current and submitted for consideration

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in med/surg tele required
• Travel nursing experience is strongly preferred
• Recent employment references from supervisors within the last 3 years
