Position: LTAC- Registered Nurse (RN)

Base pay range: $50.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses, or disabilities across a range of clinical settings.

Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study.
  • Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • ACLS and BLS certification required.
  • Background screening and drug screening as required by state or contract.
  • Ability to read medical equipment and documents; includes pushing carts and handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift at least 30 pounds, walk up and down stairs, position patients, walk long distances, and stand for prolonged periods.
  • CPR certification as required by client facility.
  • 1st‑timers are allowed.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide general care services, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Assess healthcare needs of patients through routine assessments and develop individualized nursing and health‑care plans.
  • Perform health screenings of patients or clients.
  • Respond to emergency healthcare needs of patients.
  • Collect and record data relating to patient health status.
  • Administer medications/treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient, family, client facility, and staff information in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Comply with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
  • Operate in a non‑judgmental, non‑discriminatory manner, respecting cultural diversity and autonomy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adapt duties and responsibilities according to department assignment (e.g., Emergency Room, ICU, CLINIC, nurse anesthetist, quality assurance).
