General SummaryPerform complete over-haul and testing of all manufacturers control valves, actuators and positioners to include Fisher, Masoneilan, Rotork, Automax, and others. Execute diagnostics and trouble-shooting in shop and field environments. Directly reports to the Operations Manager.
Essential Job Functions- Maintain a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards.
- Perform control valve repair in accordance with TEAM’s quality procedures.
- Directly communicate with customers.
- Work autonomously in valve repair process.
- Ensure all diagnostic, testing, and repair reports are in compliance with quality system.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience.
- Control Valve Manufacturers Training Courses or certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of HART Communicator or other diagnostic analyzer manufacturer required.
- 0-30% minimum travel requirement.
Position is based out of a branch or site location. Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere. Interaction with crew employees, supervisors and client personnel. Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise levels. Must be able to wear safety equipment as required. May be at more than one job site in a day and tolerate climate changes.
May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis.
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
- Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties.
- Clear speech and hearing; vision; manual dexterity; personal mobility; ability to work in refinery or plant environment; maintain focus and multitask.
- Excellent communication skills.
