We are seeking an energetic and guest-focused Assistant Food Service Manager to join our team. The role focuses on guest relations, department leadership, and operational excellence.

Summary

The Assistant Food Service Manager is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, supporting the Department Manager with ordering, merchandising, and training, and managing the department’s safe, legal, and profitable operations.

• Acknowledge, greet, and engage guests upon arrival.
• Interview, train, schedule, coach, and evaluate department team members.
• Maintain a positive atmosphere, spirit, and morale.
• Execute division concepts, programs, and financial goals.
• Ensure product availability and guest solutions.
• Safeguard and monitor department assets; enforce policies.
• Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Utilize department systems consistently.
• Collaborate with the Department Manager on production and promotion planning.
• Coach and develop staff with support from Talent Management.
• /manuscripts and inventory reports.
• Act in the Department Manager’s absence (ordering, delegating, forecasting).
• Adhere to Food Safety Procedures.
• Demonstrate conflict management skills.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year restaurant experience.
• Strong communication and professional interaction at all levels.
• Self‑motivation, problem‑solving, and minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand up to 4 hours, lift up to 50 lbs., and manage physical tasks.
• Comfortable working in refrigeration up to 15 minutes.
• Basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel, Email).
• Fast‑paced work style while remaining organized.
• Certified Food Safety Manager certification required.
• Preferred bilingual English/Spanish.
• Flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Openness to supervisory coaching.
• Team‑player attitude.

Mid‑Senior level, Full‑time, located in Odessa, TX. Salary range $62,000.00–$72,000.00.
