Position DescriptionThis position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic patient flow and serving as the primary contact for patients. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, preparing necessary paperwork before patient visits, receiving patients, and maintaining records. The role also includes processing charges for clinic services, filing insurance claims, responding to information requests from patients and insurance companies, and maintaining related department information.
Employees may have cash-handling responsibilities.
- Support patient care and verify accuracy on required forms
- Ensure legal compliance with audits
- Facilitate communication among health care providers and departments
- Travel to Midland campus for occasional coverage
- Assist supervisor with processing vital documents
- A High School diploma or GED
- 1-year of customer service, office, or related experience. Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in clinical setting
