Job Details:

• Work in a high-risk Level III NICU caring for neonates

• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Minimum 3 years of NICU experience required

• Travel experience required

• 36 hours of orientation provided

• Required certifications: PALS, BLS, NRP, STABLE

• Must have experience with Cerner charting system

• Previous charge experience preferred

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)

• Care for neonates 34+ weeks with complex medical conditions

• Skills include blood glucose monitoring, phototherapy, feeding support, arterial/central line management

• Experience with ventilator management, high frequency ventilation, and nitric oxide required

• Must be comfortable with umbilical catheter care and neonatal medication calculations

• Support developmental care and provide patient/family education

• Work with interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, social services, and interpretation services
