About the Role
Home Hospice is seeking a compassionate, motivated Community Educator to serve the Odessa/Midland area. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about educating the community, building professional relationships, and helping patients and families understand the benefits of hospice care.
The Community Educator acts as a liaison between Home Hospice and healthcare providers, referral sources, patients, and the community, promoting awareness of hospice services while supporting our mission of comfort-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
Educate healthcare professionals, referral sources, patients, and families about hospice services
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, physician offices, senior facilities, and community organizations
Conduct presentations, in-services, and community outreach events
Identify and develop referral opportunities
Collaborate closely with clinical and administrative teams
Maintain accurate records of outreach and referral activities
Represent Home Hospice professionally in the community
Qualifications
Experience in healthcare required; sales or marketing experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of hospice or home health is a plus
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel throughout the Odessa/Midland area
