PRIMARY RESPONSIBNILITIES:

  • Work in South Texas primarily with possible rotational schedule in West Texas. Schedule will be a 14/14 or 10/4.
  • Collaborate closely with customer field representatives to effectively execute NOV Frac operations.
  • Facilitate onboarding of NOV Frac products across all basins in the US.
  • Provide field technical support to customers for NOV Frac products.
  • Assist with development and implementation of new product offerings, i.e., gathering information, field implementation strategies, etc.
  • Initiate incident investigations, report up in a timely manner, and partake in devising a solution.
  • When on location, observe the condition of all NOV equipment, and report any deficiencies accordingly.
  • Conduct field installations and calibrations of sensors and systems.
  • Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system.
  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and work with honesty and integrity, maintaining customer service.
  • Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.
  • Another duty, responsibility, or task assigned by manager.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • AA Degree and/or equivalent education with 5+ years’ experience preferred.
  • Wireline, Fishing, Coil or Completion Tools equivalent: 5+ years preferred.
  • Knowledge of oil and gas field components, including software and hardware.
  • Strong technical background working with downhole tools utilized in pump down operations, including wireline setting tools, frac plugs, and perforating guns.
  • Ability to work in all basin regions in the US.
  • Available to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer field operations.
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic background preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
  • Electrical background preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Initiative-taking and meticulous.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead and assist other techs and colleagues.
  • Bi-lingual preferred but not required.
  • Must pass a national background check and a motor vehicle report.
