Lar Mar Industries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Used Caterpillar Engine Parts Associate to support our engine-focused parts operation. This role is centered on identifying, pricing, and selling used Caterpillar engine and power system components
, with a strong emphasis on technical accuracy and online sales execution. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Caterpillar engine platforms, part numbering, and component applications, along with experience managing an eBay storefront.

• Identify, research, and accurately describe used Caterpillar engine and engine-related components (long blocks, short blocks, cylinder heads, fuel systems, turbos, aftercoolers, accessories, etc.)
• Accurately verify engine models, serial number breaks, and part compatibility
• Create, maintain, and optimize listings on the company’s eBay store, including pricing, photos, titles, and detailed descriptions
• Ensure accuracy of part numbers, condition statements, and interchangeability
• Monitor eBay activity, respond to customer inquiries, and manage order fulfillment
• Use Net Com (or equivalent Caterpillar systems) for engine parts lookup, cross-referencing, and validation
• Work closely with teardown, service, and inventory teams to identify sellable engine components
• Maintain organized inventory and documentation of used engine parts

• Extensive knowledge of Caterpillar engines and engine components
• Strong understanding of Caterpillar engine part numbers and serial number arrangements
• Experience working with used engines, engine rebuilds, or power generation engine components
• Proven ability to manage and maintain an eBay store or similar e-commerce platform
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload

• Mechanical background with hands‑on Caterpillar engine experience (Position will require some mechanical teardown)
• Experience with industrial, power generation, oil & gas, mining, or marine engine applications
• Quick Books experience (invoicing, inventory, or sales transactions)
• Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems
