Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role based in Odessa, TX, for a Community Educator. The Community Educator is responsible for developing and delivering educational programs to increase awareness about hospice care and services. Daily tasks include conducting training sessions, engaging in community outreach, building relationships with local organizations, and facilitating workshops to educate the community. The role plays a vital part in promoting Home Hospice’s mission to provide continuous support to families and individuals.
Qualifications- Strong skills in Community Education and Community Outreach.
- Proficiency in Communication and Education, with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Experience in planning and delivering Training sessions.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with local organizations and stakeholders.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for serving the community.
- Familiarity with hospice care services and community health initiatives is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
