Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • Valid teacher certification as per federal, state, or local regulations, including compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Prior experience or formal training in working with at-risk students preferred.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in conflict resolution.
Responsibilities Essential Performance Responsibilities
  • Implements the school’s mission, educational philosophy, and standards.
  • Assists in enforcing school policies regarding student conduct.
  • Ensures safety of students and school property.

  • Encourages high standards of behavior and academic achievement.
  • Uses positive behavior interventions.
  • Maintains discipline fairly.
  • Sets clear objectives aligned with curriculum standards.
  • Utilizes various instructional techniques and media.
  • Regularly assesses student progress and provides reports.
  • Addresses learning difficulties and involves specialists when necessary.
  • Supports special programs through effective instruction and participation in relevant committees.
  • Plans and supervises assignments for support staff and volunteers.
