Automotive Reconditioning Technician - Ford Lincoln

The Sewell Family of Companies is seeking a Reconditioning Technician to join our team, the individual will be responsible for inspecting, analyzing and troubleshooting vehicles & equipment to determine if further service work is required or recommended.

Roles & Responsibilities :

* Recondition vehicles for pre-owned sales

* Receive repair orders from the dispatcher

* Perform work as outlined on the repair order efficiently and accurately by dealership and factory standards

* Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform the repair

* Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts

* Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.

* Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required and if repairs cannot be completed within the specified timeframe

* Keep documentation of all work performed

* Road-test vehicles when necessary or refer to the test technician

* Keep the shop area neat, clean and be able to always account for all dealership - owned tools

* Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor

Schedule:

Monday
- Friday 7:30am-6pm and assigned Saturdays 8am-5pm

Skills & Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED

* Valid driver license and acceptable driving record

* Background and drug screening

* Ability to multitask
