Roles & Responsibilities :

As a technician at the Sewell Family of Companies, you will work on a team that values a family-like atmosphere where team members are encouraged to build strong relationships and work collaboratively towards our promise to provide excellent customer service. You will be responsible for tasks such as:

* Examine, diagnose, and repair vehicles

* Communicate with service team regarding repairs

* Provide labor time estimates

* Monitor repair time and update service advisors regularly

* Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation

* Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs

* Assist in mentoring technician trainees

* Attend company and factory training

* Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations

Skills & Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma)

* Must be able to lift to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds

* Manufacturer certifications and experience preferred

* Dealership or automotive repair experience

* Valid driver license

* State Inspection license is a plus

* Completion of drug screening and background screening

* Provide all government I-9 requirements
