The candidate will call on prospective customers from a list provided by the company and may deliver parts as needed.

• Answer customer phone calls and fill orders from inventory.
• Access parts information from computer; check availability, pricing, and substitutions.
• Advising customers on parts replacement based on service bulletins and vehicle updates.
• Stock necessary parts on and off outside vans and pickups.
• Check customer credit before delivering parts.
• Collect payment from past‑due customers.
• Accept cash or C.O.D. payment at delivery.
• Examine returned parts or cores for defects before issuing credit.
• Process warranty paperwork and return parts to warranty clerk.
• Maintain clean and presentable vehicle and exterior equipment.

• High school diploma; minimum 2 years experience with heavy‑duty truck parts or automotive parts.
• Proficient in reading and writing English; able to interact successfully with customers and coworkers.
• Clean driving record.
• Good record‑keeping; fill call sheets and report issues to Parts Manager.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.

• Drive long distances.
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist high, and 25 lbs to shoulder high.
