Accounts Payable Clerk

Seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a well-established company!

Job Duties include:

• Assemble, review, and verify invoices and check requests
• Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
• Sort, code, and match invoices & set up invoices for payment
• Enter and upload invoices into accounting software
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions & monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting procedures
• Knowledge of accounting software and Excel spreadsheet software
• Proficient in data entry and management
• Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
