Billing Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to join our team in Odessa, Texas. This role is essential for managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to maintaining organized records and resolving billing discrepancies efficiently.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and submit invoices promptly to ensure accuracy and adherence to company standards.

- Monitor account aging and address outstanding invoices by coordinating follow-ups to support timely collections.

- Reconcile customer accounts, process necessary adjustments, and resolve discrepancies as required.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to address and resolve billing-related issues.

- Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records, both digital and physical, compliant with company policies and audit requirements.

- Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for additional accounting tasks as needed. Requirements - 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable and billing, ideally within a mid-size or large organization.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

- Familiarity with Open Invoice, Open Ticket, Quick Books, or similar accounting and billing platforms.

- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work on-site in Odessa, Texas.
