Job Overview

Join us as a General Merchandise Expert  this role, you will be responsible for ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. You will lead inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise areas of the store.

We offer a starting hourly rate of $18.50 USD per hour. As a General Merchandise Expert, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in guest service fundamentals, retail business fundamentals, and process efficiency.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping them with their needs.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader to help achieve business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
• Receive products, restock shelves, organize the backroom, and arrange merchandise.
• Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures, if certified.
• Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment.
