Summary Join Award-winning Chef Roberto Alcocer at Vallé, a Guadalupe Valley Kitchen as he draws on the traditions of Mexico’s renowned wine region and the bounty of local farms and sea food, to create Valle’s bold cuisine paired with a selection of Mexican wine, best enjoyed on the seaside dining veranda in the Dining Room which boasts beautiful ocean views. Hourly rate for this position is $18.35/hr + tips

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Server in service to assigned tables.
  • Bus tables and clean work areas as needed.
  • Anticipate guest needs and understand when the next course should be presented to the guest.
  • Run food from kitchen to table as required.
  • Roll silverware & polish glasses as needed.
  • Prepare non-alcoholic beverages as requested.

Qualifications
  • 1+ years’ experience in a medium range to fine dining Food & Beverage role.
  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Refined verbal communication skills.
  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Ability to meet high performance expectations of a Michelin star restaurant.
  • Must be have open availability Tuesday-Saturday.
