We're seeking a creative, hands-on Marketing Coordinator to join our US team in Oceanside, CA. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be the driving force behind Uppercut Deluxe's brand presence across organic social media, content creation, influencer partnerships, events, retail marketing, PR initiatives and eCommerce function. You'll work closely with our in-house design team and collaborate with the digital/eCommerce team to ensure brand campaigns come to life across all channels.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 3 years of marketing experience who is passionate about content creation, loves the barbering and men's grooming culture, and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment where they can make a real impact.
ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Social Media Management
- Manage Uppercut Deluxe's organic social media presence across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, You Tube and other relevant platforms
- Create engaging social media content (static posts, videos, Stories, Reels) that reflects brand voice and resonates with our audience
- Collaborate with in-house design team to produce high-quality visual assets and creative content
- Develop and maintain a content calendar that aligns with product launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
- Monitor social media trends, engagement metrics, and community feedback to optimise content strategy
Campaign Coordination & Brand Marketing
- Coordinate brand marketing campaigns from concept through execution, managing timelines, briefs, and asset delivery
- Support product launches with integrated marketing plans across organic social, email, retail, and events
- Collaborate with the Performance Marketing Coordinator to ensure brand campaigns translate effectively to paid channels
- Brief and review creative deliverables to ensure brand consistency and quality across all touchpoints
- Maintain brand asset libraries and ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines
Influencer Partnerships & PR
- Identify, reach out to, and manage relationships with barbers, influencers, and brand ambassadors
- Coordinate influencer partnerships including product seeding, content collaborations, and campaign activations
- Support PR initiatives including media outreach, product launches, and press kit development
- Track and report on influencer campaign performance and partnership ROI
Events & Retail Marketing
- Plan and execute brand events, barbering events, pop-ups, and trade show activations
- Develop retail marketing materials including POS displays, merchandising kits, and in-store promotional assets
- Support wholesale and retail partners with co-marketing initiatives and branded content
- Capture event content (photos, videos, social coverage) to amplify reach and engagement
eCommerce Support
- Assist the Global eCommerce Manager with website content updates, blog copywriting, and product page optimization
- Write engaging, SEO-friendly blog articles that reflect brand voice and drive traffic to the eCommerce site
- Create, schedule, and monitor email marketing campaigns including promotional newsletters, product launches, and lifecycle emails
- Analyze eCommerce and email performance metrics to provide insights and recommend optimizations.
- Support online promotions, sales campaigns, and seasonal initiatives to maximize online sales.
- Collaborate with creative and digital teams to ensure online assets are accurate, up-to-date, and visually compelling.
