Job SummaryReporting to the Assistant Rooms Director, the Front Office Supervisor supports daily Front Office operations by overseeing Guest Service Agents, assisting with reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and ensuring exceptional guest service standards are upheld. This role assists with training and team support, and is the first point of contact for escalated guest concerns.
Responsibilities- Supervise and support Guest Service Agents
- Assist with reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
- Handle escalated guest concerns professionally
- Complete daily supervisory checklists and administrative tasks
- Support cash handling and reconciliation
- Liaise with the Sales Team on group business
- Support training, mentoring, and coaching of team members
- Cover breaks and support daily coverage needs
- Occasional overnight Duty Manager shifts (asset)
- Other duties as assigned
- Support coverage of breaks, including at the Front Desk
- Carry the Emergency Phone (if First Aid certified)
- Ability to cover occasional overnight Duty Manager shifts is considered an asset
- Support training, mentoring, and coaching for new and existing team members
- Projects and other duties as assigned
- Previous Front Office / guest service experience in a hotel or resort environment required
- Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- High level of professionalism and guest service focus
- Upon successful completion of the three-month probationary period, incumbent will be required to complete First Aid Level 3
