AOD Residential Assistant - 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

- Provide case management with crisis intervention, discharge plan, group & individual work, mental health/substance use disorder counseling, screening, and assist clients in meeting basic needs and symptom management.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation, meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services if contractually required.
- Facilitate placement including pre-placement visits, and transportation as needed.
- Shift coverage including part of the on-call team.
- Provide field-based services as required by program and client need.
- Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
- Participate in scheduled program meetings.
- Offer medications as scheduled or as needed, complete accurate medication compliance and accurate medication data entry.
- Conduct observed, baseline and random drug testing.
- Monitor and observe health and safety of residential and withdrawal management participants.
- Conduct walkthroughs and property searches.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
- High School diploma required.
- Registered or certified from recognized AOD certifying (CCAPP, CADTP, CAADE) board is required.
- Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
- Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
- Cultural competency understanding required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification (required within 30 days of hire), and bi-annual thereafter.
- Bilingual preferred.
